Cube 2: Sauerbraten (German for "sour roast", also known as Sauer) is a cross-platform, Quake-like first-person shooter that runs on Microsoft Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and Mac OS X using OpenGL and SDL. The game features single-player and multiplayer gameplay and contains an in-game level editor, its main feature. The game engine is free and open source software, under the zlib License, with commercial support available from the developer's own business counterpart, Dot3 Labs.

Chris Sawyer's Locomotion is a strategy game from Chris Sawyer and Atari, and is a spiritual successor to Transport Tycoon. You play as transport company entrepreneur and must build railroads, truck lines, bus lines, airlines, and freighters, and attempt to make your business successful. The game features 40 scenarios taking place in multiple nations and covering every period of the 20th century, a scenario editor, and a multiplayer mode.

Terminator 3: War of the Machines

Terminator 3: War of the Machines is a team-oriented multiplayer FPS from Clever's Games and Atari. It is based on the Terminator 3 universe (having loved The Terminator and hated T2, I haven't seen T3 and can't comment on whether the game follows the movie or not). It takes place in the year 2029, where the machines are attempting to take over the world, and the humans are trying to stop them. You play as a grunt on either side in one of the many battles that occur. Gameplay closely resembles Battlefield 1942.

Savage: The Battle for Newerth is a science fantasy computer game that combines aspects of the real-time strategy (RTS) and first-person shooter (FPS) genres. It takes place in the distant future when humankind has rebuilt society following an apocalypse, but is threatened by intelligent beasts. The game was released in 2003, and was turned freeware on September 1, 2006.

Street Legal Racing: Redline is the sequel to Street Legal. You start out as a rookie with $20,000 to buy a vehicle, tweak it, and compete in illegal races for more money. The car building component has a great amount of detail, featuring 100 interchangable parts down to the crankshaft and pistons, and custom paint jobs with brushes and stickers.
