Doesn't work: apparently all command line arguments are treated as map names :lol: and hands_fovscale is not listed as a valid command in the console (F1).
The "world" FOV on the other hand can be set through the console (fov xxx) which allows for a broader range than the slider (40-130 instead of 70-120) and thus strictly Hor+ screen change.
