If you don't think the meaning of "Ah, 360 ports!" is obvious, I don't know what to tell you.
When I was editing the post describing the game's behavior I was trying to determine why it seemed familiar. I then remembered some 360 games which had these flaws and so I typed
Ah, 360 ports!
as a personal epiphany(notice the "s") not as a declaration about the game. It was not written well and I can see why you interpreted it the way you did which is why I clarified it in the next post.
If it means that much to you, ask me to edit the original post but, and I am trying to be diplomatic here, please don't try and tell me what I meant when I posted. I think I would know that best.
I didn't realize that, the US-centric media just says the 360 port is offshored... still, I see the euro 360 release is a trash second-thought port and the game was obviously developed for PC first and foremost.
I would say that the 360 version influenced the design of the PC version which kind of negates the exclusive first argument. What I am trying to say is that the roots of the game don't matter as much as the end result.
We have code to ensure the console-required 16:9 HUD is flawless but not the HUDs of the more popular PC aspect ratios of 5:4 and 16:10.
And giving that the game files are littered with 360-only data I don't really see the need to make a big hubbub out of its PC only roots.
