I love UT3 but I was irritated that the FOV "resets" itself when you respawn, so I tried to find a solution. I've found one for myself, but i'm not sure if I need to make a patch for it. It stays at the selected FOV when your running the patch. It also "passes" the FOV 100 limitation.
Here are some screenshots:
FOV 90:
FOV 100:
FOV 140:
Let me know

Well, a FOV of 140 is a bit useless and distorts everything to a really ugly level. It's nearly unplayable. Most players stick to 100-120.
Would be nice if we could get that FOV fix, squ1zzy

I meant single displays as in monitor setup for mere mortals :D
Can we get that file btw or is it just a hoax or an edited BioShock FOVhack?

Alright, thats cool
Hopefully the fix will work with the full version as well - in case Epic decides to ship the game with the FOV problem included. This wouldn't surprise me though

Good work - gets my vote!
It doesn't adjust the weapon like the Bioshock 'fix' did, but that's not too bad in UT3 as the weapon isn't so hidden to start with (90 vs 75 or whatever).
Getting pretty dissapointed with UE3 games now, one thing after another, hopefully Epic will sort this out properly before full release but as there seems to be some conspiracy against Widescreen users in general with that engine I highly doubt it. :)

LOL, yeah taking a bit too long to find a dl site, heh.
No bother really, I don't care for the game myself, I just appreciate his efforts to help out the game community.

It only works on the computer he does it on.
He is trying to find a way to get it to work on other peoples computers.

Great work squ1zzy.
Keep us posted, as I'm sure we'll get screwed over and we wont have HOR+ for the final Retail game.
