...I tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything and re editing my softTH config file to get it all working again, but my widescreen fixer wont enable when I press my hot key, I have tried re downloading the fixer, and a tried a few versions, and tried editing them all to use different hotkeys...

Okay do you have the latest patch, and the latest fixer?
I actually use an older fixer because I like it better for CoD4.

I know you said you uninstalled everything, and re-installed it, but you must not use the cracked .exe, I'm just making sure, I'm not calling you an idiot.

Also, you have to reconfigure your hot-key if you hadn't when you re-downloaded the fixer.

Next, I'm not sure which aspect the game was supposed to be in, I think it's 16:9. I remember having to set it to that to get it to work, but I may be wrong.

If you still have issues, I might be able to think of something, but my brain is frazzled right now.

Yeah I was using all the latest ones and I tried just copying over the exe from the dvd. But still to no avail, I uninstalled the game and deleted all the softth and widescreen fixer files, and downloaded them again but it still didn't work. I decided to reinstall windows since I had just done a fresh install that day to upgrade to windows 7 and the hotkey is working again :) yay.

But now I have run into another issue but its with the game itself, when I choose the resolution for 5040x1050 the screens go blank, then crashes. Everything works fine if I have it set to 1680x1050, as in the softth software and the widescreen fixer are all functional, the game itself just doesn't display like it should. I am gonna scratch my head some more tonight and try and find a working config file. I think thats whats causing the current issues.

Just kinda sucks that I hade it all working pretty much perfect until I cracked the game. Didn't see the FAQ section on the site dealing with cracked versions :(

If your trying to get the game to work with bezel correction , then this is built into the funcationality of SoftTH, check your config file for the option "borderSize=".

Hey guys,

Forgive me if I'm missing something completely obvious. I usually refrain from posting questions on forums because 9 times out of 10 I can figure it out by reading but I've read every page of this thread and cant solve my issue.

I have no experience using 3 monitors to game but I have been using 4 monitors for my everyday computer stuff for the last few years.

My issues is with Modern Warfare 2 using the beta version of widescreen fix. When I launch the game I hit the hot key to enable the fix. WSF shows enabled. When I enter into a map the image is only on my center monitor and it is very squeezed looking. My other two monitors show the windows desktop like they do when play with one monitor.

I can't for the life of me figure out why it's doing this. It's probably something obvious but I can find it.

Any help you guys could offer would be awesome and much appreciated

Why is this? I'd like to know so I can try to make the next version as awesome as possible. :)

This is an issue unrelated to Widescreen Fixer. Check your driver settings, resolution, in-game settings, etc.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up figuring it out. I was using softTH but for some reason the default config settings don't work for MW2. I ended up downloading the new alpha build of softTH and it worked perfectly.

Your WSF makes a HUGE difference. I have to tip my hat to you for doing such an awesome job on it.

Just preference, it what i had already downloaded and i was lazy. I actually keep a version of the fixer in every game folder that require it.

As expected with the new DLC release, there was a version change today, to version 1.2.208.

Tested

The game runs with the old dll 1.1.195......

for the beauty you can rename the dll to the new version.
