Read Full Detailed Report - Black & White

The Black & White series was developed by Lionhead Studios. Train your creature. Watch it grow. Watch it develop a neurosis.

Save a drowning person, watch your creature eat them.

Save a starving person, watch your creature set them on fire.

Save an injured person, watch your creature defecate on them.

Ain't AI grand?

Black & White/Creature Isle: Detailed Report

The anamorphic cut-scenes can cut off some of the conscience creature's actions.

It's been forever since I've played this game, so remind me of something. Do the conscience creatures do anything useful gameplay-wise that would get cut off here?

Also, does the loading text ever display important game information, or is it just "tip of the day" style info?

The grade is C+, 98.5%. 100% when you answer these questions.

It is extra stuff for the creatures. Just polish. No gameplay.

Loading text is tip of day. Nothing major.

No need for that. In the grading system, vert - games get MP points for free.

Doesn't run at 2560x1600. It just crashes as soon as it starts.

2048x1536 works and is the highest standard resolution supported.

Did you run the gaem setup once? You could also try adding them manually. IIRC they should be DWORDS.

Adding the ScreenH and ScreenW values manually worked out for me. They were DWORD values.
It also works for me at 1366x768.
