XCOM 2

Post by newparad1gm »

XCOM 2 allows you to select multi-monitor resolutions but starts with vert-. However in your Documents folder in My Games\XCOM2\XCOMGAME\Config in XComEngine.ini, you change

[Engine.LocalPlayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainXFOV
to
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV

And the in game FOV and interface changes to hor+. So far its been working well, although the HUD is not centered on the middle monitor.

Thanks for this. I am surprised I had to look a little more deeply for this post, seeing as the release of XCOM2 is, without doubt, the main gaming topic of the day.

Yes, there are none of these weird cursor & UI scaling issues in XCOM2.
I've noticed a slight lack of precision in Surround here and there, but it's mostly due to a cumbersome perspective or the low-ish framerate. Needless to say, it's nowhere near as bad as it was in EU...
