3 Monitors and First Person Shooter Games

Post by The Postman »

I assume that using 3 monitors on a FPS game does not allow you a wider POV , you only have the same view as a single monitor stretched farther ?
Is this correct ? Looking at shooters such as Call of Duty and Battlefield series. Thanks !

You do have a wider field of view when using three monitors in Eyefinity or Surround. The center monitor is the same as using a single monitor. The right and left monitors will let you see more of the game, all be it stretched. You won't notice that as much since there are in your perifial vision.
