Your attitude is not OK. He posted the answer. Did you read the thread he linked?
You will see the effect amplified in games that use a higher number for their baseline FOV.
But if you want an absolute definitive answer: NO. You can't fix it.
Well that's not all that true. There is a way through post processing that would "bend" and distort the edges like a lens, but this would also mess with your hud and things like that. It's far from ideal. The only other way would be to have a camera for every degree and mesh the images together. But in general no. Also I agree with eZ', a sense of chill is the normal atmosphere here.
