Joined: 05 Oct 2018, 11:22 Posts: 7	i play in 3840 x 1600, i have extracted all, but in my "ac odyssey foulder" is no exe which i can replace. iam a little bit desperately. i was also showing in my uplaylauncher folder, or in my older origins folder, to compare him with the actually odyssey folder, but there are no exe. datas. whats wrong with me....? with my witcher 3 game, but it is a steam game, i had no problems to configuer the exe for 21:9 ratio.

Got it since close to a year and first game I played on it was Assassin's Creed Origins. It does HDR too and it is just freaking amazing. Wouldn't go back to a triple monitor setup now

That's why when I set the aspect ratio to 16:9 and 1920x1080 resolution, the screen gets to black bars, bottom and on top. No matter what settings I try the bars stay. Can you please do a version of this fix, for a UPLAY version 16:9 , 1920x1080? I hope you can! Either way, thanks for helping others, while ubisupport is doing nothing on this matter....

	Thank you for the guide on how to do this, it looks amazing. One thing that I noticed is stability when I employ this is reduced significantly. I find myself crashing out in the open world after some time of playing, however when I use the exe unedited, I do not get those crashes. I was wondering if anybody here might have an idea why that might be. I'm not entirely sure what is being edited / changed when I change the values a total of 12 times and if there might be some conflict there.

It's impossible to play 100+ hours of Origins and then attempt to play this w/o them. It would be great if Ubi would get off their damn ass and fix it. Much appreciated for the past fixes. Always respect the great work the community does. Hopefully there is a way to fix it. If not, its the last Ubi game I purchase.

Its crazy that they cant figure this out themselves after making such a fantastic game. I think its the same old thing, the devs dont own a 21:9 monitor so they never even notice its broken.

Computer specs are: Crosshair VI Hero WiFi Motherboard AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 16GB Gskill Ripjaws V DDR4 PC3200 2x Powercolor Golden Sample RX580 8gb 3x Acer XF270H Monitors in 3x1 Landscape Eyefinity configuration Resolution is 5904x1080 The game runs flawlessly with one exception. I cannot see any dialogue options or the menu during cutscenes. I have tried the HxD edits to the .exe file that are listed in this thread and none of them have solved this, presumably because none of them are for my resolution. I have also tried numerous lower resolutions with the same result. If i set screen display area to centered, the hud does move to the center display during normal gameplay, but the game crashes to desktop when trying to start a cutscene. If i revert to 1920x1080 on a single monitor, it works perfectly. Any suggestions for how i might overcome this one hurdle and get ultra wide working? I have tried the above on both 1.06 and 1.07 with the same results. Currently running 1.07. Thanks in advance for any help.

Replacing the 16:9 hex strings every updated has been working like a charm for me all the way up until this update. Now it doesn't seem to be working. I still find 12 instances of the 16:9 string in the EXE like before, but replacing them doesn't seem to make a difference. I also notice that 21:9 still shows as an aspect ratio option in the game's menu. Previously, patching the game would force the menu to only allow 16:9 as a selectable aspect ratio option.

I just got the season pass and downloaded the first DLC. The exe didn't change and still WORKS during cutscenes. If you are on Uplay, try downloading the appropriate exe I have provided in a previous post. If you are on Steam, you will need to edit the exe using the instructions I provided on page 11. But unfortunately neither this last one nor the previous ones do not work with AC Odyssey Ultimate edition. I've got Ubi version meanwhile. I have a question though...the cutscenes look perfect...but seem to actually USE the whole width of the screen. So now I'm wondering, is the game actually naturally rendering these scenes now and using the whole screenspace? Or is the top and bottom cropped from the original cutscene? I was expecting the edges to just be filled in with the background, but the characters seem to be able to appear close to the edges of my screen, so just adding width to the existing cutscene doesn't appear to be what happened. Google has decided that the files we host (exe files, patchers, etc.) are malware. Thus, they have flagged the entire WSGF as hosting and/or linking malware, which inhibits site access and search rankings. Both the WSGF and our older media server (WSGF Media dot com) have been flagged. We have found a solution for our hosted files, via our friends at PC Gaming Wiki. However, we still have an issue with the forums linking to the old WSGF Media server. There is no feasible way to go through the forums and edit the possible thousands of posts that reference the WSGF Media server. And there is absolutely no guarantee that Google won't ping some future post attachment and flag the entire site again. The forums are much quieter today then they used to be, with just 1 or 2 active posts per day on average, on top of this we continue to have issues with bots or humans creating accounts to post spam. Additionally, the forums have hampered our ability to enable HTTPS and update the site to be more modern and mobile friendly. The internet itself has also shifted, with sites like Reddit and services like Discord, YouTube and Twitch being where most discussion happens. Given all of the above we are exploring the idea of "archiving" the forums into their own domain so that everything could be read, but no new posts or accounts could be created. We would then direct all new discussion to a Reddit community and/or our Discord server, which we hope will make discussing and working on fixes more practical. We are really at a crossroads where the forums have gone from being a minor or moderate inhibitor to growth of the WSGF, to now a major roadblock (thanks to Google). We need a road forward, and wanted to reach out to the community to socialize the issue and our ideas, and to get your feedback.
