Assassin's Creed Odyssey Black Bars on Cutscenes

Hello guys, so as it stands right now, Assassin's Creed Odyssey has flawless 21:9 support except for cutscenes, wich despite being rendered in-game ar cropped to 16:9. I was wondering if anyone could come up with a fix, via hex edit or any other means. I''ve seen quite a few comments complaining about this issue, so I think the community would greatly aprecciate a solution.

i don't have a game yet , btw i found game .exe in another forum and i've managed to modified with basic hex. let me know if working

no luck for me, i get the "steam API initialization. Can't find steam_api64.dll" error
game works tho when i switch out the exe's. let me know how it goes for you guys too,

This is working perfectly for me on the Steam version, the black bars are gone and it looks great! Thank you so much, you're a legend brother

Hey guys, I have same trouble but with the 16x9 monitor (1600x900 resolution) I have black borders ~4cm at top and bottom of image. Looks like you watch one new movie at old square TV. Can you assist\help with this? Thanks in advance!

I cant unziped it with my raropener, i get the message that its empty, or defect what exactly must i do?

after extract , you should copy and replace in your installation folder

there is nothing which i can replace and ive got the messege that the odyssey game launcher exe couldnt be found.

I'm a lucky owner of this great game too and I'd like to know if anyone of you will be able to set up the cutscenes for my screen (it's in 32:9, 3840x1080).
