| Post subject: | Impressive job, both fixing |
Impressive job, both fixing the game and getting the devs involved in the process. Default 4:3 screenies are an important part of any DR, though so I hope you're planning to add them soon. because the game game runs the UE3 engine it renders vertical minus,Oh you naughty you. There are natively Hor+ UE3 games, y'know. ;) |

Oh you naughty you. There are natively Hor+ UE3 games, y'know. ;) True, but the default engine behaviour is still vert- ;) Can't really hold an indie developer accountable for not fixing the engine, although I have effectively told them how now, just change the default value of the aspect ratio configuration. Default 4:3 screenies are an important part of any DR, though so I hope you're planning to add them soon. I know 4:3 screens are important, that this point I was just copying everything I've created so far for the report for the devs into the DR. |

| Post subject: | Well there first patch is |
Well there first patch is out, 1.7, and it contains the following line: - Added Support for very widescreen resolutions being loaded from profile data Which I was lead to believe meant they fixed the issue with modifying the Hex file, however, what appears to of happened is that the resolutions is taken from the ini file first rather then the Hex file, which makes adding multi-monitor resolutions ohhh so much simpler ^^ They also said they would change the default setting of AspectRatioAxisConstraint to AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV in the next patch, which will make the game hor+ natively. In process of updating my first post and the DR now to reflect patch 1.7, still gets a C grade but if they follow though with the change they said they would, next patch will make it a B grade game :) |
