(and you probably want to add another 2 or 3 of those 290x if you want 144fps @ 5400x1920)

Re: Unable to update drivers - Constant crashing and BSD's.
Yeah that's what I thought aswell. There was simply no way for me to upgrade the drivers which pissed me off enough to reinstall
If you're computer savvy it's not too bad (you can save most settings, users\yourname\appdata and not have to reinstall most apps).

Re: Unable to update drivers - Constant crashing and BSD's.
I had a similar issues with some of the recent AMD drivers; computer froze during install so everything went to shit and had to do a system restore. Nothing would work - cleaning manually, with driver sweeper etc

Re: Win8.1 issue: 3 displays in Surround + 1 monitoring
Hi!
I'm actually running 3+1 screens on win 8.1 (was running it on preview and now on retail) and it's working just fine, but then again I've got AMD cards running so might be driver related I guess?
Are there any older gpu drivers you could try?

Well optimized for widescreen
Are you running three monitors or just the one?
He's running one monitor. I've got two 7970 and it doesn't play well on ultra triple wide

Re: Battlefield 4 Multi-Monitor
Any of you using 3x1+1 extended notice that the HUD is moved to the outer screens? I disable the extended screen and reboot relaunch game and the HUD is back on the center screen. I tested BF3,BF4 and Mass Effect 3. Mass Effect 3 FOV was incorrect when running 3x1+1. I think there is a issue with ...

Re: Battlefield 4 Multi-Monitor
Good stuff! Except I hooked up the monitor to the onboard cpgpu which caused cpu load to go bananas and fps drop. Will buy a hdmi->dvi cable instead of an adapter so it'll fit the gpu tomorrow instead!

Re: Battlefield 4 Multi-Monitor
No it don't use hardly any resources all you are doing is running the battlelog web page on a separate PC or monitor. I guess you could do a 3x1 with 1 over the top Eyefinity setup. I'm just not sure if crossfire still works in that arrangement. I will test it once I get my new TV and wall mount ...

Re: Battlefield 4 Multi-Monitor
Most monitoring apps report the wrong memory usage when using more then 1 gpu. They add the memory usage for each card even though the info is shadowed. Use one card with the same game settings then see what it is, then enable the other gpu/gpu's.

Re: Battlefield 4 Multi-Monitor
How's everyones vram usage on this? in 5760x1080 I get about 3.7GB which makes my 7970's cry a little. Doesn't really matter if I run low or ultra, same vram. If I lower the render resolution ~60% I can get below 3gb and it feels smoother (might be due to 100fps instead of 50-70)

Bro! The announcement of the new cards is just in a few hours, and supposedly the new R9-290X will outperform titan and cost less than GTX780 so wait a few more hours before you order anything atleast

Re: 3840x1080 on three monitors possible?
You can use my tutorial to run some custom resolutions. As far as I can tell, BF4 wont be that much more intensive than BF3. They talked a lot about optimizing too.
btw, in order to run 3840x1080 over 3, you'd need to put 1280x1080 on each monitor, but that will look horrible, might I suggest ...

Re: 3840x1080 on three monitors possible?
Or did you mean that you have 3 monitors in Portrait and want 50% of your left and right Monitor Black and then run in 2560x1080 pixel ? Impossible in Fullscreen mode, or only when supported directly by the game.
But you could try Windowed mode. Should do what you want.

3840x1080 on three monitors possible?
Hey
I've been worried that I might have to lower resolution/settings when BF4 comes and I was thinking if it's possible to use a two screen resolution spanned over three? like half the left monitor, the middle one, and half of the right one?
I guess softh can do this (never tried it) but that's only ...
