wtf i feel like an idiot its even says its very easy still no success in fact no visible change from putting the menu folder into the my docs/Riptide/out/Data/ folder so ...
maybe too dumb for eyefin lol

I would advise against Alienware for price reasons only, they tend to charge a premium for the brand / design. Look into MSI and Asus range of gaming laptops, both make good products. Also you'll be luckly to get a laptop with a 680 and 16GB RAM for $1500 or less, and unless you plan on using it ...

so i wanna buy a decent gaming laptop ive got around 1500$ to spend ive been thinking 680m 16gbRAM or will 8 do? i7 with a ssdmaybe 17in monitor
so far ive been looking at the ibuypower m
and maybe the alienware m18x m although it is out of budget and id like a few more options like maybe hybrid ssd ...

I lurked for awhile trying to answer my own question to no avail so now i post

just updated skyrim to 1.6.89.0 (late getting to it cause everything was working fine and i knew that an update meant having to deal with issues

using flawless everything works good except for item ...

mkay well im all amd not nvidia so theres that

i got a program called displayfusion it does alot of the same stuff automatically plus thats extra nice if you like to change it up alot


also id like your input on this page since we seem to have identical goals (as far as screen placement)

nope not really it depends on what game or app you are running but when it exits from fullscreen on the 3x1 part
it will often "bork"and do some thing random seeming but usually it throws the "top" monitor to the left side
and makes the wallpaper stretch to all four almost like a 4x1 view but ...

as far as mods im using a few that might cause issue namely

hayden its not skyrim that updated its the widescreen fixer app when i had plugin 2.1 it was fine now the old plugin wont work and i cant find an old version ( stupid me with an overwrite) so yeah i think its more the fixer less the games fault

yeah 4 monitors in an eyefinity +1 arranged as so

but it always borks after games or restarts to be like this

with the top screen on the far right

at this time im just resigned to leaving the =1 monitor on the left side but for ease of use cmon ...

okay i gotta couple of random questions and this seems to be a fairly appropriate place for just that

1.) eyefinity 3x1+1 has issues staying put (everyone who has this setup has seen this im sure)
what are good fixes for this when can we expect it to be fully realized?

ahhh updated fixer on my first day off in awhile
stupid dummy i am i updated it and now the map is screwed up
it looks like all of the icons show up on my right screen for a second
then disappear this is the only flaw but crazily it is a game-breaking one!

ok fixed that by enabling hardware??? i gues it turned itself off and i never thought to check that

so it set my+1 monitor plz anyone who knows tell me how to set it up as a top monitor!!! many thanx

ya its alright it would be a hellovalot better if it worked in eyefinity!!
