Hey guys,
I have a small problem that I hope that you can help with. I have four monitors plugged into my 7970 and previously this used to work fine. Now though, when I try to activate my forth monitor it says that one of other monitors needs to be stopped.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Budget DIY "Bass Shaker" (Audio Transducer) Project Part
Well I caved in. I ordered a couple of sets of cheapish speakers to that way my room is setup in surround sound properly. The Transducer can then simply act as my sub. The only issue I had was that I didn't have a speaker in the center channel so voices in some games weren't heard. Will update on ...

Re: Budget DIY "Bass Shaker" (Audio Transducer) Project Part
Ok well althought I thought that everything was running smoothly I found a problem with my setup.
I do have a gaming headset which is 5.1 and if I use this everything is great. Also, if I play a driving game and use my speakers everything I've heard so far is great.
BUT here is my problem. I have ...

You could open the fabric underneath the chair and then attach this to the frame work of the chair inside. If you open the fabric at the bottom edge then you could stable or sew it closed again.

Re: Budget DIY "Bass Shaker" (Audio Transducer) Project Part
I'm not sure I follow... you put the transducer on top of the couch and then you sit beneath the couch???
The transducer is simply a speaker that shakes. I have mine screwed into the bottom of my office chair. The chair is padded and I can feel the bass through the padding. It adds a nice effect ...

Re: Budget DIY "Bass Shaker" (Audio Transducer) Project Part
Thanks for putting this vid online. After watching I couldn't resist. The parts came yesterday and it's all up and running. Excellent idea.
The only issue I have is the speaker cable that now runs to my chair. Aside from that it works a treat. For anyone else here's a couple of pointers.

Re: Display in another room
Ok cables arrived today and everything works pretty well. I'm happy with it all but I admist I have a few issues.
1.) Audio via HDMI isn't great. I dont know if this is because I haven't got it setup correctly or if it's the cable itself. I haven't set anything up regarding this apart from setting ...

Need to login.. Need to login... Need to login GRRRR
Guys, I'm not sure when this changed but I keep having an issue when trying to post on the site now. It keeps telling me that I need to login even tho I did just 2 seconds ago.
I'm using IE 9 and it's driving me mad. The only way I can get it to work is by putting IE 9 in compatibility mode.

Re: Display in another room
Ok guys I've bitten the bullet while the wife is out. The hole is drilled. It had to be quite big to fit a HDMI though and my wall was quite thick. My drill didn't reach all the way so I had to drill from both sides. Trying to get the holes to line up didn't go smoothly so just as well the wife was ...

Re: Medal of Honor Warfighter
Ok, it's taken me a little while to get time to seriously play this but I've almost completed the campaign mode now. Overall I think the graphics are good and with a single 7970 I got decent frame rates. The story line is ok but not amazing and they do try to introduce a few new mechanics into the ...

Multi Monitor gaming... for multiple players
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone was aware of any games that allow local, offline two player functionality. I know on the xbox there are some co-op or split screen games so wondered if there were similar ones on PC.
If so, does anyone know if it's possible to use my eyefinity rig to have one ...

I have an eyefinity +1 setup.
I have an eyefinity +1 setup. My eyefinity part is all plugged into display ports etc. My +1 is plugged into the DVI via an adapter. It works fine in a desktop mode but when I try to play a game direct x freaks out and wont work. Suprising as eyefinity itself does work.

Oculus Rift VR set
Ok, so I've seen that there is a fundraiser for getting hold of a few Occulus Rift sets. Sounds like a great idea, personally I cant wait for these to be out. Do you think they'll still be around the $300 mark when they are launched? If so it's not too bad a price. I'm in the UK though and I expect ...

By purchased I meant once you have the game. I couldn't think of another way of writing it. The game was free though.
I've just checked and it looks like the game isn't even on the site at all now.

I set something similar up using a RAMDisk and Steam Mover. The boost in speed is great. Only down side is the size of the files that I need in the RAM disc are often too big. E.g. most game installs are over 8gb and I dont want to use more that for a RAMDisk.
