I love triple screen gaming, but the support you get from the game dev's just seems almost non-existent.

For the most part ive only played Battlefield BC2, 3, and Planetside 2 while ive had my triple screen setup.
BC2 was ok, but not supported fully.
BF3 wasnt exactly supported properly.
PS2 there ...

Im thinking of upgrading my triple screen setup of 27" monitors, to 42" TV's.
Im not bothered about 3D.
Preferably the TV model would have:
LED
1080p HD
2+ HDMI connections
low input lag

Im not overly tech savvy so all this comparison talk of motion blur/ghosting, black, colors etc ...

has anyone been able to run BF3 at 5760x1080 on ultra in a 3 monitor rig? Does anyone know how much memory this will eat up?

I have to use the Medium setting for an average of 40 fps on large maps at 5760x1080 60hz. And the frame rate still stutters occasionally like 2 fps for 1-2 seconds ...

The temperatures are fine.
Ive since tried:
changing the graphics drivers, ie uninstalling current drivers then performing a clean install of older or the newest drivers, at first the older drivers didnt crash for a while but later the crashing came back even when going full screen mode watching ...

The computer just crashes and hangs at a black screen on all 3 screens, the fans are all on and all sounds normal like when its still playing the game. I have to hold the PC case start button for a few seconds in order to shut the PC down, click the start button again to restart, im given the option ...

This used to happen on average 1 in every few rounds, exactly like the old Opersation Firestorm crash bug.
But as of today it now crashes within a minute after the loading screen is done.
So i uninstalled and reinstalled both my nvidia drivers and the BF3 game, including all my personal settings ...

XFire doesnt work in-game, no chat or anything, apparantly its a well known issue with XFire in BF3, XF just arnt or cant do anything about it.

Fraps works awesome but only records say 10 seconds worth no matter what the FRAPS/BF3 settings are, resolution, fps, max screen (1.4GB file size) or ...

An 800watt good make PSU is the bare minimum for 2x AMD GPU's, youre makin the PSU struggle though.
As a rough guide, base each card max load as 400w, so x2 cards youve already maxed the 800w PSU, CPU's use about 150w, then a small amount for everything else case fans, LED's, RAM, harddrive ...

id wait for the new intel generation due out hopefully within the next few months. I was advised similar years ago and thought screw it i want the new PC now, but since then i wish i had waited just a few months. That old core i7 920 is going to seem so very ...

No problems here using single monitor at ultra BF3 setting.

Triple screen though: I dont get stuttering but im only able to use the medium BF3 setting, high is ok but it has the odd lag spikes here and there, FPS rate doesnt "look" any different compared between low and medium.

Can only use Medium game setting though, High is ok but its sometimes too laggy.

Works great in windowed mode, but nthing has changed with fullscreen mode? i was using the most recent nvidia driver but have just upgraded to the newest beta driver and still no difference! :(

Just read on the bf3 forums that its confirmed to be fixed next patch for Nvidia and ATI. I also read on bf3 twitter that they will have an official fix list next week.
I would guess 2 weeks after that right after the holiday. I hope I am wrong and its sooner though as I am ready to fire it up on ...

I was getting ~30fps at Ultra settings and 50-60 at medium. I only have a pair of GTX570s ...

I have 2x nvidia 580 3GB GTX's in SLi with the 285 beta drivers, running the BF3 beta its pretty much smooth at 1920x1080 60Hz with almost everything maxed.

Then i swap to 5760x1080 and it goes all slightly choppy, makes no difference between either low or high BF3 settings.

Ahh great, BC2 finally fixed now theres only a few days to go until i ditch BC2 for BF3 beta.. typical.

Edit:
Ive just had a 4 hour session of BC2, it froze when i hit the print screen key a 3rd time, like 2-3 seconds after the last.

Wasnt sure whether to put this in software or hardware section. Figured people like to compare hardware so heres one way of doing that by means of benchmarking.
