My question is are certain games limited to the max resolution they can display or support. For example i use the Mviewer which works great and my max resolutions my monitors support are 1600x900. I have no problem running a resolution of 4800x900 on desktop but when playing Left For Dead 2 the max ...

I understand what Fish Eye effect is, but what i dont understand is if this problem is because of the graphics cards or software related or is this something that the game itself when being developed needs to be fixed.

Also does the invidea or ati surround platform fix this issue
