Update:
I have been able to get the 4th screen working with a new DP to DVI adapter. Unfortunately, I can't get 4 screens working at once. When trying to enable the extended screen, I get an error message from CCC saying:

Eyefinity plus extended.
Ok, need some ideas/advice on this one. I am currently running 3x1 Eyefinity with DVI, DVI, and HDMI on a Sapphire Flex 6850. I am trying to add a 4th monitor as a extended monitor. After a lot of fiddling, I have been able to get CCC and Windows to detect the 4th monitor, but for some reason this ...

The sapphire flex edition can supposedly work without using one of the mini-display ports for output on the 3rd monitor in eyefinity. I am not sure how well it lives up to it's claim, but I have purchased this card and I can report back in a couple of days after I receive it.

Ok, I'm either not
Ok, I'm either not understanding what you are saying, or you are blatantly contradicting what is said that the cards can do. Why is it I still need an DP adapter? Why is it that I can use EVERY output on the card at once, but if I only use 3, I have to use a DP adapter?

Looking for an upgrade without displayport, need suggestions.
So I've been using 2 5770s xfired for about 2 years. While the performance is alright, I've gotten tired of having to deal with the Displayport. I'm tired of getting flickering on the screen. I'm tired of having to unplug and replug my adapter. I'm tired of every time I do some driver update ...

Eyefinity + Clone
Anyone know if it's possible to have a 3 monitor setup in Eyefinity and have one of those monitors cloned? Any solutions would be welcome, such as having multiple gpus, a hdmi/vga/dvi splitter (that outputs to two displays at the same time), etc. I don't know of any/can't think of anything that will ...

Re: 10.4 drivers discussion - no 5x1 support :(
I just reformatted my computer (it was running a bit sluggish) and tried to install the 10.4 drivers (I was running 10.3 before the format). Of course, I am having problem after problem trying to get it to work. And the best part is, it won't let me uninstall it! When I go to add/remove programs and ...

Re: Transfomers: War for Cybertron
*Shrugs shoulders* I actually enjoy the "Bayformers", as they have been dubbed. There are many generations of Transformers, and those in paticular were made for a more realistic/complex look, I'm assuming, which I believe they did pretty well. At the same time, I was a fan of the original ...

I tried ME2 at 1920x1080, and didn't seem to have the flickering problem. The only wierd thing I've noticed is when I used to play it at this resolution, it would be on my center screen. Now it is on my left screen. :?

Re: Displayport Monitor or Active DP->DVI Adapter?
While theoretically you can do the profile thing, myself and others have found that it doesn't seem to work quite right. When going back to Eyefinity, I sometimes get the "displayport error" message, and sometimes all my monitors will be cloned instead of Eyefinity. So every time you go back and ...

If you plan to crossfire, you're not going to be able to use more than 3 monitors. If you aren't going to crossfire, don't get another 5870.
