what operating system are you using? Win 7 I assume.

Go to Users/(username)/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX

Open FSX.cfg

Under [Display]

Change
WideViewAspect=Flase > WideViewAspect=True

Well, I had the freezing after copying the dx8vb.dll file into the game folder, as the file could not be accessed from the system32 folder.. this may be because of my win7 x64 setup. Although, after installing RSRBR2010, the camhack began to work when started from the RSCenter... Odd.

Don't mean to dredge up an old topic or anything, but camhack3.0 seems to not function in win7 x64. it becomes un responsive after a few seconds and then crashes.

it does natively support multiple monitors.

resolution - 6040 x 1080








-They need to get a center hud fix going before launch, but as things go with demos, mostly what you see is what you get on release.

vga has no limit for resolution, it's just that at higher resolutions you will lose detail. That's why we have dvi and newer ports that can carry a higher detailed image at the upper resolution. You should be a-ok for that resolution. in that other thread, they give links to the vga adapter that is ...

The only problem I have had with bezel management is the in game menus. Most of them snap to the outside monitors (if they are natively centered), and some stretch into the bezels making it impossible to read.

I have tried this with Dirt 2 and iRacing.

The game works fine in multi monitor setups.. the big problem is the menus. They are on Vert- or something. so you need to remember where menu items are in order to navigate it properly.

I don't have a place to host my files, but all the .res files in the vpk have ...}..}.. before them, I can however place my code for the score board modification, there are a lot of fields that need to be edited, and I have only done so for the campaign and not for the versus or other gameplay types ...

Another thing I have been having difficulty with is the item pop ups, when you pick yo items at the start of a scenario, the icon pops up onto your screen and is supposed to shift over to the weapon bar, I can not find out how to move this popup.

Also, I have already created a 5760x1080 mod ...

About the filenames and such...take a look at my fourth or fifth post on the first page of this thread for an explanation of how the game "sees" files. some trickery is needed to get the mod to work. apply the same procedure to basechat.res and it should function the same (I haven't modded this ...

I have a question that maybe someone can answer for me. when I extract the dir, i see mudlayout.res. Is this the same file as hudlayout.res? if so, how does renaming it set the proper settings but having it as mudlayout.res does not. also, how can I edit basechat.res, nothing seems to take ...
