Re: BC2 ATI slow load time fix?
Just curious if this is being worked on or if it will be in the next driver update?
It's on DICE's issue list for BC2.. they're investigating it.

It's not that it wouldn't support surround... there's no GPU available that could run it at that resolution at high settings.
This game is a beast on the machine.

Re: Battlefield Bad Company 2 "V-FOV" can be set in ini
I had one crash in 8 hrs of single player..
I had multiple CTDs in multiplayer until I reduced my i7 oc from 3.8 to 3.6... now it's running fine in all cases w/ my 5870.
Vicious, I get displaylink failures with my native displayport monitor on occasion... it seems to happen less with the ...

Re: Official statement on eyefinity in Mass Effect 2
Very disappointing.
Even more frustrating knowing that there are UE3 games out there that do properly support triplewide display configurations.
They still haven't properly fixed the dragon age pop-in issues with ultrawide displays.. it is beginning to become clear that Bioware is not as ...

Re: Battlefield Bad Company 2 "V-FOV" locked to 60 :(
I'm not sure that they were pre-rendered.. my FRAPS framerate fluctuated a lot during those scenes.. usually it stays locked to 30 or so on pre-rendered scenes due to the video framerate.

Re: trying to run 3 monitors with eyefinity
The lower end 56xx series cards have been more customized by OEMs than the higher end models.. some of them may be crippling certain features to save money on production costs.
I've seen several cards that don't even have a displayport output.

Re: Assassin's Creed 2...
I don't think that saying "hey, we're supporting eyefinity" would do anything to help people forget about the DRM.
I'm glad they've decided to add support for eyefinity, but I'm still not buying the game while it has that DRM in place.
I've been making it a point to buy every game that ...

The version on my game executable is 1.01.. so I'm assuming that the patch was included in the initial steam download.

Re: Eyefinity question, to CFX or not?
I've been thinking about doing the same thing.. I may wait until the next ATI refresh for a potential drop on the price of the 5870.. Once they get crossfire and eyefinity sorted out, I'll probably grab a second card.

Re: 10.3 beta drivers
Nice catch on eyefinity being part of profiles now.
Very helpful for switching between eyefinity and single monitor configuration.
Though I get the same effect simply from turning off my outside monitors, still, it is nice to see this implemented.

passive adapter for DP to DVI = will not work.
You could try something like the apple minidisplayport to VGA adapter and see if that works.

I just disabled overdrive and I don't get flickering.
I'll be glad when ATI fixes it, but it's not like I need to overclock the card to get killer performance.

The demo is running in dx 9.. it said that dx 11 and eyefinity could be experienced in the full version.. so I imagine that the graphics will look at least somewhat better.

Correct its a game engine problem so they need to fix it not ATI.
Yeah, it is an engine issue .Totally up to Bioware to fix.
