Heard there is a bug with some MB (asus?) and amd cards in crossfire set ups.
However, new tech arc dosnt make it easier.

I am happy with my single card at 5040x1050 as it runs just fine.

Have 2 apple adaptors active for 120hz.
major headache, couldn't even set eyefinity without screens going 640x280.
went and bought a usb charger, and got it to work.

BF3 now looks marvelous.

changed the power settings for the pic-e link.
might fix link or black screen issues.

I had issues with 120hz and get 3 screens to work.
normally a DP to dvi active adapter should work.

1. set eyefinity with 2 screens and then connect the third one.
2. check cables and test with another screens cable.
3. move things around so try to connect screens to different outputs ...

2500k 4.8ghz
running 120hz 3x1680x1050 screens.5040x1050
with 6870/6850 crossfire.
could not play smooth even at 3840x800 with all low settings.
rush mode works but caspain border the fps drop was immensely bad.
Its playable but I am upgrading to next generation asap when they are out ...

I would however suggest 2x6870 crossfire or such even 6850 crossfire would make the eyefinity scale for gaming.
1gb cards run out of vram fast if you crank up AA but if you play with 2xAA that wont happen.

destruction fully in alpha?, lot of things wasn't there,
they tested a lot but a ton of things and besides, with planes and such you wouldn't have any houses left after a few minutes if you could bomb it all.
destruction makes BF3 the best fps shooter game ever.
without it, its the second best.

ghosting and inputlag should be fine, depends on how sensitive you are.
Hardcore gamers use TN panel due to their demands, but I played on higher mva panels and works well even though I do notice difference its often negligible.

one of the dvi should be dual that should give u 120hz no problem.
the other single.
displayport works also but requires adapter.

Playing fps shooters using eyefinity and amd technology let me stay on top using widescreen eyefinity for eyefunity.
Its a blast having such widen field of vision and it helps with gameplay.
Its more immersive, its more fun, and its just great for gaming on PC.

ati + eyefinity + drivers suck ass currently.
All I hear is excuses from ati, its how windows operate, well write some easy to use stuff guys.
I buy a TV, I press one button, and then I can configure where my channels are, save them and use them.

I had asked sunsp*t about a month ago about PLP and he said PLP setups are a possibility, so I wanted to check and see if any headway was made there.



I would assume this,
crossfire and bezelmangement done early 2010, say dec-march timeframe.
and that PLP happens after that period ...

2 Tn panel for the price of less than I paid for my single s-pva.
I run eyefinity using one odd s-pva and 2 tn panel ones at 5760x1080.
works well. I had to get TN panel screens due to budget constraints.

I can get 3 tn panel for the price of one s-pva or isp.

I use 2 1920x1080 and one 1920x1200 screen for eyefinity at 5760x1080.
even if the 24inch screen isnt native for the resolution, it works really well.
I got the dell p2210hd screen as its native DP.

Your seldom looking at the screens at the side directly, so if they are a little blurry ...

I basically just did the same thing again.
First time I got greyed out and locked.
Redid and worked.

amd forum admin isnt that helpful.

Just set eyefinity again using 5760x1080 as I type this.
I have a 5850 but that shouldnt matter ...
