There was another thread out there asking who has 5040x1050 working and what there configuration was so that others could compare it.

Maybe we should start a thread stating what vertical refresh worked for us so others can start with those numbers first in case there is a commonality ...

The English is most likely a translator, but WOW!! How cool is that. If Mviewer is looking to open it's API and allow others to help improve it, I think that is great. For scavvenjahh, it looks like a firmware upgrade might allow you to get the 1080P monitors working. Let me know if that works ...

I am reviewing the Mviewer MV103-HDVE PRO today which I have been comparing to the Matrox TripleHead2Go. First I would like to say that I have been through hours and hours of struggling with both boxes to achieve 5040x1050 resolution. I was one of those in the middle of changing over to Windows ...

If anyone has a Mviewer box and needs 5040x1050............I have the answer figured out.

I have:
Windows 7 64 bit
Nividia 8800GTX SLI
Nvidia 195.62 drivers

AERO works...........It all works. I am working on a write up that I will post, but let me know if you need something right now ...

Your perceptions are absolutely correct. 5040x1050 did not work for us in the past except with Nvidia 182.50 drivers.
Countless hours of trial and error, reading other people's post of success and failures only to find that you too have stumbled and
fallen victim to the all night ...

I actually tried your refresh rate of 59.5 that you have on the screen ...

No good with anything but 182.50 for now. It seems that more people are having better luck
with Windows 7 64 bit. I am not seeing much luck with the 32 bit version like me.

I wonder if I should just start all over with 64 bit. I will have to read up on the advantages of it.

It works for me, but I still have 182.50 drivers.
Before I start trying other driver versions again, have you had luck
with newer drivers. That has been my main issue.

I actually downloaded and updated my firmware last night. After it restarted it was still listed at 5040x1050 57Hz. I was tired and never bothered to read what the firmware update addressed. THAT IS GREAT NEWS. Now I am trying to get off of work early just to try the 60Hz.

I have been using a program called OBJECT DOCK which will
put everything in the middle. You can get a free download
from here: http://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/

If you want the other bells and whistles, then you can buy it.

Just a question. Is your version of Windows 7 32bit or 64bit.
It seems that in all of these forums that people are getting
the 64bit version working with late drivers, but not the 32bit.

I downloaded the anticipated GXM 2.06 for my Windows 7 32bit.

In a word........"FAILED"

It was the exact same as GXM 2.05. I was looking for a new monitor
driver in this as well. I used the proper procedure to find the new
driver from the GXM 2.06. It still shows up as the same old ...

I just got an email from Matrox stating that they are almost done with a driver for Windows 7 which will be listed under GXM 2.06.

I have Windows 7 32 bit and cannot get 5040x1050 with any combination.
