Re: Multi-Game Widescreen Fixer
Battlefield 2142 has just gotten updated to 1.51 and it looks like the fix for 1.50 no longer works. The official patch can be found here http://www.4players.de/4players.php/download_info/Download/Download/56669/Battlefield_2142/Patch_151.html weighing in at 2.0GB. Similar to the BF2 1.50 patch it ...

Re: Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

"The game needs to be copied somewhere else before replacing the two game EXEs with the v1 single exe or steam will "fix" it or otherwise complain" - GTA forums
Buy -> download -> Copy SA folder somewhere else -> in copied folder away from steam, delete 3.0 exe and test ...

Thank you for the tips. I've got a ways to go before I get all of the lingo used on the site so I'll add this info into the OP. I tried racer's tool. It works well but I'm not sure what would be a good FOV setting. I liked how with the GTA III and VC version you could set the FOV by number and go ...

It looks like this is the fix we all have been looking for!

Yea I've come across a small tutorial by mithras for Silent Hill 2:
1. Buy a copy of "Silent Hill 2: Directors Cut" or find your current 3 CD copy. Install it FULLY - including the 2 GB in movies.
2. Google "Silent Hill 2: Directors Cut v1.0 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE" and download it ...

[quote]I can't say this will work for every one but I had this issue as well. I use a resolution of 1920x1080 and the pixilation issue was present at my maximum resolution. For me the game runs and looks great at 1920x1080 however the menus still do not work correctly. I've looked into using a hex editor on the .EXE file but unfortunately this ...
