It worked for me but it doesn't seem to work for everyone ... :?
It doesn't worked for me because of Vista, but the problem is fixed with Patch 1.0001 (not sure about XP). |

Well yeah, however some monitors scale so well I seriously doubt you would see the diffrence in quality be it non-native or not.
Id personaly just scale it in aspect and keep the bars on the side, I dont like streched images.

Being "strech" means not to bother unless you have no hardware/software scaling that can do the same thing for you I'd suppose.
Is there a reason to do this hack if one of those options exsist?

As far as I know the English version of the game is being released on May 1st and is only being released as a digital download ...

I use a Nvidia 7800 video card.. STALKER runs great on it. Why would an upgrade in video card run worse? Like the 8800? hmmm
Do you have dynamic lightning turned on? |

There you can buy an old version of photoshop and buy a upgrade for it, still much cheaper than the full version and legal. |
