In case anyone was wondering about STALKER and widescreen support, it appears that it will support it. This game looks like it is going to be pretty cool, and in widescreen it should be even better.

Link to GSC Game Forum widescreen thread:

If you don't know what game I'm talking about, check it out here:

Has this released? I didn't see it on our list. Would like to add if anyone can confirm.

It does support widescreen, but if you go too wide (Th2Go sort of res) the FOV is wrong :(

There are no files to easily modify, but hopefully there is some sort of console command to increase the FoV. It is really terrible, I dont even want to play the game until it is fixed.

Playing in 1680x1050 seems so cramped :(

Thanks mate ... but ... Racer_S is the awesome one ... I just tested it out and wrote up the solution page ....

Oh and I did make a donation to him as he works hard on these tools and I think he deserves something for his efforts ... 8)

can you get racer_s to change the keys?? the keypad * and / are the keys that control time compression. so if you put on the fov fix, time shoots forward, and if you turn it off with / then the fov fix is gone

e/ apparently thats already known

I know what you mean and I have asked Racer_S if he could fix it ... I am waiting for his reply.
Once you have set the FOV Alt+Tab out of the game and close the Hack ... go back into the game and the FOV will remain where you set it ... :D

I have amended the Solution to include that explanation.
