Spore, EA, DRM, etc.
I'm a fan of .exe cracks for no-disc checks but I am also a big fan of pirating, so I guess I don't have much say in the matter. :/

Trust me, you will want low low input lag on whatever monitor you buy. This will be your most important requirement.

Buying 1080p LCD and Blu-Ray Player - Need Help
One word of warning. The PS3 will only playback AVI and Mpeg2 files. If you have downloaded movies on Xvid, MKV or RMVB. You'll have to use a transcoding program on your PC to decoding those program before sending it to the PS3. I don't know if there is a Mac version of Tversity but you might need ...

Buying 1080p LCD and Blu-Ray Player - Need Help
Looking at some other Blu-ray players, it seems the PS3 actually is, in fact, a really great player. And I've got 500GB of HD movies on my computer, so I guess getting an 80GB SATA PS3 from Newegg is probably my best bet. All the other players seem to have so many flaws... sad but true. Unless I ...

Thanks for your knowledgeable opinion on the matter! I'll do some more research and see what I can find out.
As to the audio, I don't care about that too much so I think the speakers will work just fine. Don't need 7.1 surround to enjoy a good movie.

I don't really understand the benefits of Profile 2.0.
Also, thanks for the information on the Chinese panel and the link for the cabling. I still think the Phillips has the best features, but I'm going to some local stores to check and see with my own eyes what screen has the best look ...

Buying 1080p LCD and Blu-Ray Player - Need Help
I was just going from the reviews on Newegg that the included cables are mostly junk. but I was thinking of buying some low cost cables that will perform well.
As for a PS3, they are 399.. which is more expensive than the Samsung player I was quoting from Newegg. Plus, does the PS3 playback all ...

Age of Conan Online
I recently ditched my assassin and started a Tempest of Set. much more fun, and I can rape groups of mobs.
I am level 21 now and have finally left Tortage (the starting zone). The cities beyond are massive and beautiful. Still don't have a lot of time to play, but I'm trying.

I just got this game Tuesday and only actually started playing last night.
Couldn't play Tuesday because of the serious patching that had to be downloaded and installed. We are talking a 300MB patch, then a 600MB patch, THEN a 4.8GB update. I don't understand why that had to happen. It's all ...

Can't run Crysis over 1360x768
I just recently set up a Vista drive to play some DX10 games. Loaded up Crysis and wow. This game runs like crap. I couldn't get over 30fps with my system at 1440x900 with AA disabled.
It's weird because I got almost the same fps at 1920x1200 with AA at 4x. I have to redo my Vista drive and get ...

Diablo 2 compatibility issues!
I have not had this issue.
I played Diablo 2 less than a month ago, it worked right off the bat.
I've even played it on WinXP x64 edition back in the summer, and it ran flawlessly.
The best game ever, probably.

I just downlaoded the demo and played it. Wow this is bad. I can see where it could be fun, reminds me of Diablo II hack 'n Slash but in the future w/ guns.
But the graphics are shit. Compared to what I've seen in Crysis and UT3, this has a long way to go. I'm not talking about DX10, I'm ...

Questions about wow
WoW came out in 2004. If you are going to start a new game, and are willing to throw down some money plus a monthly payment, then get something new. I played WoW for the first year it was available. It was an amazing game, but not anymore. Slowly got worse and worse.
