Native Hor+ support.
- Display options are minimal (autodetection based vaguely on desktop res and device driver capabilities; no windowed mode). A soon as you can access the pause menu, check rendering resolution under Graphics.
- Standard resolutions are letterboxed. You can trade the black bars for a Hor- FOV with the solution detailed below.
A hex edit is required, see details below. The Combined Hex of 2560x1080 is 26B41740, 3440x1440 is 8EE31840.
A hex edit is required:
- Use ResHex to find the Combined Hex value of your resolution e.g ABAAAA40 (5760x1080) or 00007040 (3840x1024).
- Open Unravel.exe in a hex editor.
- Find 1 occurrence of 398EE33F and replace it with your Combined Hex value.
- Save and play, Unravel is now Hor+.
Note that the view is not always centered. Sometimes the FOV is Hor+ to the right and Yarny stands on the left monitor... or even in the bezel gap.
To improve this, use the Combined Hex of a narrower resolution (be it 15:4, 21:9 or any fictional aspect ratio). The combination of Hor+ screen change and pillarboxing allows for a less off-centered experience.
