Max Payne 3, the third title in the Max Payne franchise, is a third-person shooter in which the player assumes the role of its titular character, Max Payne. The game features the over-the-shoulder zoom aiming and cover mechanics. However, these just serve as garnish to the game's classic run-and-gun shooting. Max Payne 3 also marks the return of bullet-time in action sequences, which the franchise is notable for. In bullet-time it is possible to see every bullet make a hole in your foes.

Solutions & Issues
Oddly enough the only issue in the game is with a widescreen res. 16:10 is stretched vertically, based on 16:9. The game seems to be keyed on a 16:9 aspect. It is Hor+ versus 5:4, and Eyefinity is Hor+ versus the 16:9.
Ultra-widescreen works for gameplay but cutscenes are tiny or pillarboxed. Use (Max_Payne_3_21x9_FIX.EXE) to fix cutscenes. Fix available from the PC Gaming Wiki Community Files (search there).
The game actually identifies "(Eyefinity") in the graphics options when you select an EF resolution.
