Platformer (Action)

A type of game popularized by "Super Mario Brothers" in which the character traverses obstacles in a physical world. The genre names comes from the act of jumping from one platform to another, to cross pits or chasms. This is often done while avoiding and/or attacking other obstacles or enemies.

Shrek 2: Team Action

The PC version of Shrek 2 was quite different than the console version, with simplified gameplay so that it would be more accessible to a younger audience. However, Activision decided that it should probably port the actual console version to PCs, since the tremendous commercial success of the movie might actually lure gamers to buy a second Shrek game. And so we have Shrek 2 Team Action.

TY the Tasmanian Tiger 4

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 4 is a side-scrolling platform video game developed and published by Krome Studios, the fourth installment in the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger series. Unlike its predecessors, the game plays as a 2D side-scrolling platformer, similar to the games in the series released for the Game Boy Advance.

Guacamelee! is an action platform video game developed and published by Drinkbox Studios. The game draws its inspiration from traditional Mexican culture and folklore.

Players control Juan as he fights his way across various enemies and obstacles in order to rescue El Presidente's daughter. Juan can attack enemies using basic attacks and can perform various grapple attacks when they are stunned, dealing more damage or throwing them towards other enemies.
