Infinitx, Chapter 2

Submitted by theMightyAtom on 19 September, 2013 - 17:03

I've just posted a video of the prototype infinitx rear projected curved screen.

The observant amongst you will notice a slight line where the projector images meet.
This was due to me trying to save money on the screen material. Whatever you might otherwise read, there's a big difference between RP plexiglass and using a window film on a plain plexiglass (which is what you see here). The plexiglass that's made for the job, does the job better (duh), even if it does cost around 6 times the price.

Dragon Age 2 - The way it should be

Some time ago I created a Surround/Eyefinity Fix for Dragon Age: Origins. Afterwards, I tried to do the same things for Dragon Age 2.
With this in mind, I managed to fix the problem of having a HUGE spanned HUD that the game shows...

Fixing the HUD was much more harder than I have initially imagined.. It was relatively easy to make it one screen wide and center it on the middle screen, but however this basically BROKE everything else including:
- Markers,
- Cinematics,
- Menus,
- Mouse coordinates
- Conversations

Bioshock 2. The way it was meant to be played.

I got a request from a user over the 3D Vision Geforce (nvidia) forums to see if I can fix Bioshock 2 for Surround. And since I never played the game somehow.... I grabbed it from Steam and took a look...

And since today I was lazy of working on my Master's Project, I thought hey, let's see it...

MAN THE GAME IS A MESSSSSSS For surround! (PERIOD)
- Hud is stretched,
- FOV is weird,
- INSANE Horizontal mouse acceleration,
- Hands+gun are waaay to close,
- etc
