I happened to get my hands on a new 2080TI and installed it on my surround system. Each time I try to enable surround using the setup tool where you select your three monitors and position them correctly and you hit "Enable Surround", the screens go blank and the computer locks up. After restart, i get a "Windows experienced a BSOD" message. It does this on both driver versions that are available (411.63 & 411.70). I am running Win7 64 bit. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I know not many 2080TIs have hit the mainstream yet, but right now you can't use them in Surround which I thought many folks might want to know. When I called Nvidia and opened a support ticket they seemed to think it was not an issue specific to my computer and that it was a driver issue affecting "all" 2080TIs on all platforms (at least all Win7 Platforms; they didn't mention Win10).
It would be nice to know if "anyone" has been able to successfully enable & play in surround on a 2080TI.

I'd reccomend trying on Windows 10.
Do you have a Spare drive to install windows 10 and try?

Re: Nvidia Surround Is Broken on 2080TI
I worked with Nvidia who said it was a "known issue" and it was waiting on a driver release to be fixed. The latest that just came out fixed it (416.34), but it's not without issues. I experienced several crashes trying to get the surround config tool to work on the new driver. To get it to work, I had to disable G-sync & preset the refresh rate individually on each monitor before enabling surround and that finally allowed it to complete the config process. It seems to be working on most titles I've played so far, except Destiny 2. For some reason it hard crashes at the loading screen in exactly the same place. It locks up the computer and reports another BSOD after restarting. The dump file analyzed as the below. I reported this one to Nvidia as well. I am going to switch to Win10 as soon as the Skylake refresh processors are released. I have never been able to stomach spending $1000 on an Intel processor just to get 40+ PCIE lanes (which is why I'm still using a Sandy Bridge processor). I'm looking forward to anything "extra" RTX & DLSS can offer on these cards and know Win10 is required. I always said I'd never update until I had a real reason to do so. Thanks for the response.

This was probably caused by the following module: ntkrnlmp.exe (nt!PspSystemThreadStartup+0x194)
Bugcheck code: 0x39 (0xFFFFF800030EE6DC, 0xFFFFFA801665EA60, 0xFFFFFA801665EA60, 0x0)

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.

Re: Nvidia Surround Is Broken on 2080TI
Even though you said you were in contact with nvidia about it. I just though i'd throw out I do not suffer this issue on a 2080 ti founders card.
I am on Windows 10 and Driver 430.86, so it must not effect all users or only effects windows 7 or maybe you makes your card that third party like EVGA etc.
