X-Men 2: Wolverine's Revenge Widescreen?
Hello all, I am trying to find a way to make this game work in widescreen however the in game options do not have any widescreen formats which is weird considering the console versions of this game supported widescreen... so anyway I have looked literally everywhere online regarding this problem however I have come up empty handed as I could not find anything so I decided to ask in this forum instead to see if anyone knows or can help out in getting this game to run in widescreen thanks.

Resolution is stored in the classic way. 80020000E001 is 640x480.
Tho it throws this error.

Invalid display mode given in settings file.
Default mode not supported! Aborting game.
So if you change the resolution you need to add that resolution to the available modes and IDK how to do that.

Replace Wolvie.exe in the game folder from this archive:
Open Wolvie.ini file in the game folder and change resolution in these lines:
ScreenWidth=2560
ScreenHeight=1080

Oh finally... thanks for this and great job by the way... I actually decided to replay this game again in widescreen and overall it was a very great experience with few problems but I thought I might as well list them here just in case anyone is able to fix them in the future.
1. When fighting bosses in the game their portrait will be not aligned to the health bar correctly and usually appear further to the right of the screen.
2. On the "Void" level you have to control a robot during a section of the level and I found it a lot harder to control in widescreen than in the normal 4:3 aspect ratio for some reason... this is most likely because you can't aim it's weapons outside the 4:3 aspect ratio even though when controlling the robot you can see more than 4:3 if using widescreen.
And that's about it really... like I said these are very minor problems and overall it didn't really affect my gameplay experience so if they can't be fixed I don't think it would really bother anyone.
