I need monitor recommendations for a new build

I just built a Ryzen 5 1600 pc and wanted to upgrade from gaming on my Vizio 60hz tv to something better. I've always had my computer hooked up to my tv. Im not a hardcore gamer by any stretch of the imagination so Im not going hardcord with my monitor choice.

I have a budget of $300 dollars and would like a monitor that is widescreen or curved, 144hz refresh rate. 27" that's about it Im not sure if I should be looking for anything else.

I dont know if a build list would help picking out a monitor but it couldn't hurt right lol.
