Diablo 3 21:9 no longer possible?

I've never had an issue with it but after updating both the b.net client and D3 I can no longer force 3440x1440 in D3 via FWS. Previously you would just launch the game, alt tab and back in and all was fine. Now when you alt tab out and back in it tosses up a D3D resetting error and closes the client. Anyone else having this issue?

I've never had to use FWS for diablo 3. Set it to windowed full screen.

I never could get FS-Windowed mode to give me the option for 3440x1440.

What do you mean "option"?
the point of fullscreen windowed is that it just uses your desktop background, whatever it is set to. If the setting is working right, you shouldn't be able to change your resolution at all.

What I meant is that when I run Fullscreen-Windowed mode my greyed out resolution under options shows 2560x1440 and it simply stretches 2560 across my screen rather than render 3440.
