Post by Dizzyy »

please help me ... i could cry

normally i play on my 21:9 LG.
a while ago i have add my old 16:10 monitor.
and yesterday i bought a third monitor (16:10) to play games like Assetto Corsa , Rfactor2, Formel 1 2014 ...

but then the horror beginns....
NVIDIA SURROUND only let me choose wich monitor i want to use. AND THATS IT ??? crap !!! no choise of solutions and so forth.

i start googeling and found some other users with the same issue. SoftTH dont work for formel 1 and Assetto corsa... maybe because it supports only directx 9
but it IS possible... here the proof i found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MI_p8Kogwc

Nvidia Sucks at this.

Hi Dizzy, :welcome

Unfortunately what you are trying to achieve is not yet possible with Nvidia Surround technology, the drivers do not yet support the ability to use mixed resolutions like you have setup.

This is however possible using an AMD GPU using the Eyefinity technology since driver version 14.11 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VmsKyFTkTc

Use extended desktop (Surround off) and run the game in windowed mode. PLP specialist imusrt can probably tell you more, see here for a quick preview.
