Dell UltraSharp U2414H problems, bad batch ?

Hi im interetsed in getting 3 of these monitors for an eyefinity setup with crossfire sapphire R9 290 Vapor-x and intend to connect them via daisy chain with 3 http://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-com-Mi ... isplayport

im just a little concerned since many people have been having issues with this monitor, im not sure where i will be purchasing them from at the moment but ive read posts about people having to return them etc and having problems doing so. how do i know i wont have to do the same, where should i purchase them from and how do i know if what i purchase is not from a bad batch ? i might be purchasing them from amazon for the low prices
