Dark Souls II

Bad news, Dark Souls 2, is locked to 16:9 aspect ratio, looks like it's going to need a fix, mouse also appears to be stupidly sensitive, unknown if there are any other issues, I've literally only loaded the game and got to the ingame section.

Game does not support 2560x1080 resolution and has black borders. No option for fullscreen windowed (borderless) mode either.

It can go crazy high res full screen (5660x1920), but I only get the image across 3 screens. OP is right, aspect is locked.

That is really disappointing, but I can't say I'm surprised.

Thanks for the announcement Skid.
This is very sad indeed, another PC port fails true triple widescreen implementation, yet again.
Any of the senior programmers working on it?

Tsk Tsk, not just triple! Those of us with more than three are oft forgotten by game devs (DmC anybody?) even when they remember those of us with 3

EDIT: Note that multi-monitor works if you're 3x1p...the only problem is, again, aspect ratio.

Hopefully we will have a fix for 2560x1080 soon. T_T

I said it once, and I'll say it again, they should pay you for doing their job Hayden.
Thanks, awesome job!

Released

I haven't really tested anything other than surround resolutions, eg. 5760x1080, and multiples of 16:9... so no idea how 21:9 etc would go or if it even works.
Do report any bugs, seems Dark Souls II is a bit crashy by nature however..

I tried the fix, it works awesome, but the enemies have no health bars and i can't see the damage that i do. I also can't see the bonfire options.
just a quick piece of feedback, hope you can work your magic on it

Thanks for the fix! some bugs:
Can't lock on target anything, nothing seems to happen with fix.
Bonfire text is missing, the ui for it is in the right place but no text at all.
Character creation, when you enter your name the text is not aligned, also think the mouse control on sliders isnt aligned (acts as if the hud was stretched still)

Hi HaYdeN
Would you like us to report bugs here? If so, the targeting reticle is off-centre when playing 21:9 (2560x1080)
Other than that, it's working fine. First post here, donated via the link on the app. Appreciate the effort from all!
