I have a EVGA GeForce GTX 680 FTW. (http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-DisplayPort-Graphics-04G-P4-3687-KR/dp/B0083YF55U)
I'm about to start running 3 monitors(http://www.amazon.com/VG248QE-24-Inch-Screen-LED-lit-Monitor/dp/B00B2HH7G0/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1378931698&sr=1-3&keywords=asus+24inch+gaming) and just upgraded everything in my computer except for the graphics card to up to date components.
- Was wondering if I should get a new graphics card or add another 680.
- Also anyone know the difference it would be if I added another 680 or upgraded what exactly it would change for running a game across all the monitors?
This will be my first time doing this so I'm sorry for the detailed questions.
Thanks for any help!
Graphic card question

This question is a bit ambiguous, the Nvidia GTX680 will support gaming on 3 displays from a single card.
Addting an addtional GTX680 in SLI will often increase performance when in game, sadly we do not have any direct performance benchmarks on the difference between a single GTX680 with 3x monitors, vs 2xGTX680 in SLI with 3x monitors, however there are users here that may be able to shed some light on how much is gained by adding an additional card.

Re: Graphic card question
I manage to game quite adequately on a single 680 at 5760x1200. Just don't crank up the AA.
Re: Graphic card question
Those monitors are AWESOME!!! 144Hz, well no v-sync for you buddy...lol
PS - What is max res?
Your 680 is 4gb anyway and im not sure but i think it would be difficult to get another evga the same now.
But hold onto your existing card for as long as possible and get 2 of the most kick ass cards you can at the same time, pushing 144 fps will require some heavy GPU lifting in a 3x1 setup with max i_candy.
I did a unigine valley run @ 5040 x 1050 (not the highest res) and was using about 7.5Gb (i got 3x 7970s) VRAM (8x AA used about 4gb VRAM).
