Since when Anamorphic is A for ws? Also, you still need to edit fov via config.
And even without cinematic borders game shows noticeable letterbox on 16:9. Not very smart technique.
Out of the box ws support is not perfect.

FOV does not really need to be edited. Default is 82.72 which is OK. I prefer for it to be wider though so that's why I set it to 110.
I'll downgrade widescreen to a B yet you could argue that the letterbox was a deliberate design choice to make it feel more like you're playing a movie because of the way the story is told hence it's visible even when using 16:9 resolution.
Cheers

Anamorphic is considered A grade and has been for a long time:
http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=22291Also a low FoV is not an issue with Widescreen support, it's an issue with the game itself. So you can change the grade back to the auto generated grade.

Hi,
I'm using NV Surround @ 5760*1080 with 3-way Sli 580 and it doesn't display the hud ingame. Crosshairs shows, but no hud.
Does anybody have the same issue or know show to get the hud to show?

I know this is old.... but did you ever find a solution to this? I'm playing in Surround on a 690GTX and also no HUD. Go to single screen and HUD is there.

Hi,
I'm sorry but I really don't remember. :/ but I don't think so.
Actually I think I played it for a couple of hours, and after a while i was thinking something was missing.
Went here and saw that there actually was a HUD. So I didn't miss it until i realized it was missing
Don't think i found a fix and stopped playing it because if a missing HUD I really didn't miss.
Regards

Just saying you're not the only one that has run into the HUD issue, though I had just made it to Chapter 8 before really paying attention to the fact that it's gone.
Since I've made it his far in might as well complete the game.

I dropped the multi-monitor grade down to B. Partially because of the invisible HUD issue, but mostly because of the invisible cover issue. In wide open areas, cover in the mid to long distance will not be displayed, leading to visible enemies protected by invisible cover. This is particularly the case with enemies carrying doors for shields.
