Run the installer and set the default game location. The MTX application takes forever to run, and crashes a lot. Be patient. Rather than using MTX for the downlaod, I just grabbed them via torrent (3 files: The main game, plus two updates). I ran the MTX utility and did File | Open .mtx file and pointed it to the main file. It will verify the checksum, then install the game. I then did the same thing with both of the updates. Once the updates were installed, it worked fine in WS.
Some people were having trouble with the game. It is suggested that after doing the base install, you run the game. If it works and you get to the "create account" screen (or whatever it's called), exit. If it doesn't work, create a shortcut to the executable. Add "/gosnovideo" to the end of the launch link in the shortcut and try that. Then install the updates via the MTX app. BTW, that option turns off the intro videos.
