Eyefinity + USB touchscreen problem

I'm guessing, or should I say hoping, this is the best place to ask this
I run eyefinity from my HD7950 into 3 projectors..all good I use a Lilliput USB touchscreen monitor for a program called SimVibe so I can make change to it on the fly. It works just fine except when I launch some Steam games at which time the Lilliput screen goes blank. If I then alt+tab out the game, the Lilliput screen is back again.
Any obvious pointers for me to look at for starters

I've got an Acer 23" touch screen connected to a HD5870 E6 and it's never failed me. I use 12.10 driver.
