These shots don't all match up. The 4:3 shot matches the surround shot, and the 16:10 shot matches the 16:9 shot, but those two pairs of shots don't match eachother.

It's possible that this is just how the FOV code works, but I think it's more likely that you accidentally bumped the camera up (or down) a notch in between shots.

Do you think you could take one more pair of shots? A single 4:3 shot and a single 16:10 shot will do, just be very careful to make sure they match. If they do, then just add them to the existing shot. I'd organize the shots like this:

16:10 screen change:

16:9 screen change:

Surround screen change:

Note the crosshair position on 4:3 shot. Looks like it's hor+ vet-, but according to this video:

At ~1:40 developer states, that fov will be free to set with the limit of 200 degrees.

What does that mean, they're letting us customize FOV? I thought they were going to lock it in at 65.

Man love how they centered the HUD in surround, need to pick up this game and support devs who support surround :rockout

The detailed report probably needs a complete refresh for the full version.

If anyone is interested in doing a new detailed report, feel free to make a new thread and we'll keep this one clearly marked as [BETA].

Considering I have found visual errors when using a larger FOV in singleplayer it really does need redone.

Though editing the FOV is not really needed and is an option, so I don't know if that impacts grading.

So do you just set the center FOV for surround? And it calculates the rest of it by itself, or would say set something like 150 for surround?

Wow gotta say that is pretty amazing. Needs updated shots with custom FOV (I prefer playing at least 75 myself, depends on how far away the combat is though, further = lower FOV is OK) and the effects of zooming in and such on it, and of course surround shots in custom FOV :)

This game could very well become the poster child for what it means to have perfect EyeFinity support. Centered HUDs and custom FOVs, can it get any better?

It doesn't have custom FOV any more than Borderlands really... it's an ini solution they knowingly left in and it was not tested, in singleplayer it is very buggy.

An FOV slider is like OH WOW COOL, this is just sort of meh.

is there any program that

is there any program that adjusts the FOV for singleplayer in Bad company 2? changing the ini does nothing.
