Question on a possible upgrade

I'm running 2x 6950 2g cards and was thinking of getting a 7970 6gb card to run my 3x24's @ 5760x1200.
Will that card run that rez with smooth frame rates for BF3? I don't need or want to play with ultra settings on.
I find it sluggish with the two cards I have now.I have a I7 920 OC @ 3.8 or will my cpu bottleneck that card?

CPU will not bottleneck.

If you dislike Crossfire & micro stutter you're better of with a HD7970. But you don't need 6gb! 3gb are fine for 5760*1200. Even with using 8xAA
Performancewise two 6950 are a little faster than a normal HD7970. But if you get a ghz edition, oder a overclocked edition which clocks at 1100mhz. then you might be on the same performance lvl or higher!
