Ati 6970..new flickering problems

Hey guys i installed 12.8 recently and noticed some flickering on my 2 side monitors in some game (but not all), i then switched back to 12.6,and now the flickering is on main middle monitor and not on 2 side monitors on certain games again.

Can anyone help me? all adapters are in correct and games were fine before updates. any ideas?

BTW i turned on/off amd overdrive no change.

Its wierd though..in steam Counterstrike Source has 2 side monitors flickering but in Team fortress 2 only the middle flickers...yet same engine?

I have the same issue and I haven't found a solution for this either. I'm runnin 6990 with 12.6. Games that this seems to happen are source games. L4D2 and Gmod13 both flicker like crazy. I might have noticed some flickering with Red Faction Guerilla but it is very rare. When I run gmod in windowed mode it doesn't flicker. I also run dota 2 (I haven't played dota in fullscreen) in windowed with no flickering. With L4D2 I am ablew to fix flickering if I put vsync with triple buffering from ingame menu. SW:KotOR also suffers from this if I don't put vsync. Vampire: The Masquarade - Bloodlines works fine (if I recall correctly).

Maybe I should rollback to 12.5?
