Widescreen support for Legacy of Kain: Defiance

I bought recently Defiance gog's edition, and been working on a fix for it. After countless hours of works I can submit a modified exe that have widescreen support. I tested on a resolution of 1920x1080, found no problems or glitches whatsoever, I could have scaled the 2D graphics too, since I found the values for that too, but I am satisfied with the current state of the fix. Stay tuned for a Soul Reaver 2 and Blood Omen 2 fix too.

Remember is the GoG's edition, so you must have that version, If someone is interested I can upload a fix for the old 1.1 version of the game.

Well i would like to try the Fix for the old 1.01 Version - since i dont own the GOG Version (Yet).

PS: How did you do it? Hex?

Well I used cheat engine and hex editors to search for values, and OllyDBG for coding in assembler the functions.

The second File for the Retail Version does not work......but i used the First one GOG Version for my Retail Game and it works too.

And the best Part - i just got my new Hazro TFT and i choose up to 2560 x 1440 and your Fix is even working on this high Resolution!!!

Glad you liked the patch, I am a huge fan of the LOK series and I will do all I can to enable widescreen for the other games too, I started to work on a Soul Reaver 2 patch.

By the way the patch for the v1.1 version works (I already tested it), you need to download the "unnofficial Legacy of Kain: Defiance patch 1.1" and update your game for it to work.
