Just curious if anyone has tried/succeeded with multiple (two or three) monitor setups in Mac OS X or in Linux.
I am trying to set up a system with a quadboot, using my current Windows 7 install, Snow Leopard (hackintosh'ed), Fedora 17, and *cough* Windows 8. I currently have a triple-screen setup run by an HD 7870, and am curious about using that in OS X and Fedora. It works perfectly in Windows 7 and 8, save for Windows 8 not really taking as much advantage of it as I had hoped. I'm also concerned about whether or not OS X is even going to support my 7870.
Any ideas?
Multiple Monitors in OS X/Linux?
I can't speak for Mac OS, but
I can't speak for Mac OS, but the version of Linux I'm running was happy to output to two ports on my cheap Nvidia card, both with and without the proprietary drivers.
