Blacklight: Retribution Widescreen Fix?

Post by overdriven12 »

Hi there,

I don't found a report about Blacklight Retribution (F2P FPS) so i started this tread

I've a Problem with the FOV and the Scale of the Weapon and Crosshair.

I've tried the Flawless Widescreen but this makes my Screen some kind of "dizzy" -> graphic stripes over the hole screen.

You can download the Game in Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/209870/?snr=1_7_suggest__13

Hope someone can help me :(

thanks

Something like that is normally the result of the FoV being or going too high, also don't PM HaYDeN directly, there is a thread for his tool to stop him being flooded with PMs, please use that. Also it might be worth trying using the slider bars in the tool to adjust the FoV downwards.

OVerdriven:The only time

Post by HaYDeN »

OVerdriven:

The only time that happens is when you die and it corrects when you respawn, what happens when you are playing normally? your post is wrriten suggesting that its like that 100% of the time and entirely unplayable?

Not really game-breaking so it's low priorty, this is what I get when I run it...

Hi Hayden,

I've got these Problems:

The Crosshair:

Its inaccurate for me.

When i use a sniper rifle (scoped) then the bullet doesn't hit like it should.

The Weapon is so big.

The Weapon is nearly bigger then my keyboard.

I don't know if there is a option to scale that.

I play now on 1920x1080.

The Perfect World support also said that there are some SLI issues since the last update.

Thanks.

The most important option is to:

Code: Select all

[Engine.LocalPlayer]

   AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV

This command also to used in the BulletRun and given me good results.

Then as I used to just use Flawless Widescreen options.

I'm desperatly trying to get this game to work in eyefinity. Flawless widescreen i don't know why hasn't ever worked for me in any game. I think i'm doing something wrong while using it. So i used the change the aspect ratio tweak to use the "y" axis instead of the "x" and that fixed the game fov but the gun is on like a totally different fov. The gun is huge and all i see is the like iron sights on the center screen. It's driving me nuts. Can anyone help or anyone have any ideas that i'm doing wrong.
