eyefinity with sapphire 7870

Hello.

Just bought this card, and saw that it has: 1 DVI, 1 HDMI and 2 MiniDp. So now i need to know if it would work if i do it like this: DVI-With Minidisplayport adapter(Active)>DVI-With Minidisplayport adapter(Active)>DVI
Or do i have to do something else?

My monitors only supports VGA & DVI. So i have to get some kind of converters.


EDIT: Read something about. that a DVi-with minidisplayport adapter(active)>hdmi to DVi Cable>DVI would work aswell?

So you would say that a Minidp(adapter) to DVi -->hdmi cabel(or adapter?) to DVi -->DVi to DVI. will work fine:)?

Active Adapter! Yes, *should* work fine. Though you never know, you might get tearing.

my old Sapphire HD7970 had a MiniDP --> DVI Adapter and a HDMI--> DVI Adapter in the box! Worked both fine! My new XFX HD7970 only has the HDMI->DVI cable. adapter.

i did run 4 Monitors with that connection. now î'm running 2x DP direct, 1x DVI direct and 1x HDMI--> DVI
