Oh No. What Did I Do? 4th Monitor Doesn't Work in FSX all of a sudden.

Post by MaxArk68 »

I am using two Geforce GTX560ti cards in SLI mode to provide surround vision over 3 23" Acer LCD monitors. Another Geforce 8500GT powers a 4th 15" monitor. I was using the 296 drivers, and becuase of this problem, upgraded to the Beta 301.

I enjoy flying MS-FSX in surround mode, and using the 4th monitor as a support display for maps and gauges and things, the surround solely for the panoramic display. I'm not sure what had transpired over the course of a couple weeks that I hadn't flown, but now, when FSX is running in surround, I lose any display in the 4th monitor. I get the mouse, but that's it.

I have used Nvidia's Control panel to configure the SLI no problem. Then, using "Set up multiple displays", i've selected the 4th monitor appropriately and positioned it. The SLI display is the default display (2) and the smaller independent display is 3.

The combination of the SLI display and 4th monitor work fine outside of FSX.

Anyone have any suggestions as to where I can look for a possible solution?
