Mass Effect I / II Hi-Res Texture Packs and Surround Gaming. Any success stories?

Post by MNeidig »

The title above pretty much says it all.

Hello, everyone.

I saw a lot of really great looking hi-res texture packs for Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. For those without the retail copy and are playing it with Steam, to get these things running and looking good involves a lot of renaming executables to tricking Steam or whatever.

I'd really like to see if I can get these textures, because there are a couple things I've always had gripes about (Garrus' face in ME1 looking horribly low-res, for starters).

Here is the thread, complete with instructions, for you guys to see.

Thanks!

Last I knew the surround/eyefinity fix was incompatible with TexMod.
